I had it set up that Paige would fly in on the 14th of June. Why this day, well today is our half way point of being together for 4 ½ years. I wanted to do something on our Anniversary and give him the best Father’s Day I could ever give him. I brought his daughter Paige down to meet everyone for her first time…
Will and I took a trip down to Largo, Florida to visit my parents and hang out until Paige’s flight came in at Tampa Airport. To pass the time, Will and I picked out a present for Paige to have at the gate also for the ride home. We sat around waiting for her flight to come in at 7:55 p.m. and it seemed forever for that flight to come in. One minute it’s on early, next it’s on time, then running late and finally back to being on time. Her flight finally arrived and we are sitting down by the gate waiting anxiously for this little girl who we never met and who never met us, only knowing each other from pictures and from talking over the phone. Finally, I see a beautiful little brown eye girl standing there threw the crowd and at the same time Will and I both said “There she is,” we got up, walked over there, showed our I.D. and before you know it Will reached down and gave Paige the biggest hug and said “HI” Paige gave her Daddy a great big hug and said “I missed you so much Daddy”. Will, then looked up at me and I knew from that moment I gave him the greatest present I could possibly give him. He finally got to meet his daughter for his first time and I am so honored that I could be apart of that.
We all walked through the airport holding hands and just asking different questions and getting to know Paige. She asked “Where are my brother and sister?” Shocked by this statement, Will said “Kohen and Kariann are home and they don’t know you are here, so we have to pick them up and surprise them.”
The ride home was very exciting and those 2 hours were one in a million.
We finally got back home and Paige finally met Kariann and Kohen. We got Paige settled in and then we all played Disney Scene It then went to bed.
What a wonderful evening we all had…
